Metal dome (also called snap dome, domes tacticle) is the most improtant of switches. The metal domes are mainly use in membrane switches, circuit boards, flexible circuit boards. The raw material is the thickness of 0.1 mm to 0.05 mm stainless steel.
The function of the metal dome is that when they are placed in the printed circuit board using pressure-sensitive adhesive film in its relaxed state, the metal domes rest on the outer edge of the main road. When pressed, the domes collapse and make contact with the sideline, thereby closing the circuit.
